alright, this morning i got the urge to wire the reverse lights with a switch but keep the factory setup

45 minutes later, i try it and it works both ways, with the switch and the factory setup

after a short drive (to recharge the battery), i try again and the switch setup doesn't work (hand) , but it still lights up when i go in reverse

did i burn a relay or something? the fuse isn't burned since they still work...

btw, the switch still has power going thru it

plz try to control urself from laughing too hard.....

that's pretty much what i did....

SPST switch im assuming? 3 contacts? it worked before but stopped working now, double check your wiring...

What exactly are you trying to accomplish, Im not clear

i'm not trying to accomolish anything, just a silly idea i had and want to c trough

No, dude, I mean like, what is the purpose of the switch? Are you trying to disable the reverse lights from ever coming on, or trying to turn them on even when not in reverse?

the switch give the lights an alternate power source, i figured that would be enough to light them up, and keep the factory reverse setting

but something is not working now that was when i first tried it...

yeah, i checked everything, there aren't that many connections, but they r all good
