HKS SSQ Blow off valve works prefectly!!!!!

Dude I don't have pics, but I will don't worry. Allright check this out, I have a Turbo II RX-7. Included in the Greddy TD06 turbo kit for that car there is one section of intercooler piping, used to connect the turbo to the top mount intercooler. I had a HKS BOV flange welded to that section of intercooler piping, so it would fit a second gen RX-7. To my surprise the section was bent perfectly for the Protege. With a quick fax to RoadRaceEngineering out of California, they sent me a one foot piece of 2 inch diameter silicone hose. Cut the hose in half and with a six inch section on either side you have yourself a one off custom made Mazdaspeed Protege BOV. I will repeat, It sounds bad as s***

It still has the flutter at 0 boost like if you bog it than shift. but anything with boost, man if you hit full boost then do a slow shift it lets out the meanest whistle. It's a quick whistle but pleanty noticeable. Before hooked up cars would just cruise by and not think it's turbo, actually they really don't notice it cause it's black. One crack of the BOV and they just let me pass.

IMO, the HKS is my least favorite in sound. The nice thing about the HKS is that is stays closed at idle.

I think is sounds really sick on High hp cars (eg supra's). My friend has a HKS SSBV and a Type 2 Racing on his WRX and the Type 2 Racing is Freakin Loud now that one sounds good.
