the clunk should only happen on mp3's, and speeds. It starts off like something is in your trunk flopping around. It'll eventually get louder, but for a month or so can be quite tolerable.
Then....it gets much much much worse. It'll literally sound like your sway bar is handing off and smacking against your car. It'll make a huge noise going over simple tar lines on the road, and it makes it damn near impossible to sell your car as I found out the hard way.
Same noise on your ES....interesting.
One thing i do want to point out...again. the clunk is NOT related to cold. It's related to WET. Your car should be even worse in rainy or snowy weather. The bar, and bushings get wet and slip, and become loose, hence the noise. I could drive around in -30 below winters, it wouldn't make a difference to the bushings, but as they get wet, and wear, then they clunk. Common sense says as well, that the bumpier the roads, the faster they wear.
Anyhow....I still want the hesitation fixed.
