Hey Joe,

I ordered the fpr kit, and the MBC from your site last night. My car is about 400 miles old so I won't be installing till 1K.

My question to you and anyone else out there is this:

What do I need to make 180-190 whp safely?

eg. Boost level, D/P size etc.

I did many searchs but the answers are all over the palce.


P.S. what boost setting did you beat the Talon with? Is everything else stock?
 
so joe ur fpr kit is out? all the testing done and everything?

geezus i kept reading threads saying u were testing it adn all this and that LMFAO..

what were the results of ur test in diff climates etc..

I have heard good results from everyone who has used it. I would just post here asking who has it and what the results are if I were you, this way you can get an idea from everyone using it.

aiight whats ur site agian, im proly gonna be ordering that the i cant get my dayum greddy profec b spec II configured to much s*** on there im gonna have to go to a shop but more than likely i'll end up buying ur mbc too unless i win the raffle ;op

www.joepmbc.com As for controllers, just look around Ebay and such if you want an electronic- I just bought a Blitz DSBC dual solenoid for $242 shipped!! I wanted to be able to adjust it from inside the car since I will be running 10.5 on pump gas, 16 on race and probably 14 on water/alky injection :).. I ran 17 psi on pump for the hell of it last night- it didn't blow up :).

I sent you an email last night about your goals. Let me know if you did or didn't get it. My boost is at 10.5 psi, I have a K&N, my FPR kit and a 3" turbo back exhaust.

well i have a greddy profec b spec II but i cant get it to configure right it just spikes to 9 and drops off to 5 psi, and then raises back up to 9 with the rpm's there are three thigns u set, boost percentage, gain, and start boost, and i cant get the right combo for it to stablize somewhat, id be happy if it popped ot 9.9 and leveled of at 8 but i cant even get that :(

I wasn't sure you got the email because I kept getting an error message. I apollogize if you got the email more than once.
 
Ever since the speed came out, everyone thinks my mp3 is one.

So that there is a turbo protege huh....ha.ha

When people's ignorance really pisses me off is when I started to try to sell the mp3. Everyone thought it was a plain old protege with some nice wheels on it, and I stuck some mp3 stickers on it because I had a mp3 player in the dash. Then when they ask how much, and you tell them, their like wtf?

Yeah dumbass, there's more to it then a little kenwood head unit....duh. It's got some really pretty red sway bars too :)
 
JOE P i got it working thanks bro... 10 psi stable actually how it works but its cool with me is it jumps to 13 psi then settles down to 10 perfect on the dot. I dunno were u guys are hitting that 10psi fuel cut cuz i slipped up a few times and spiked 15 psi and leveled off at 12. -shrugs i dunno maybe my autometer gauge isn't worth s***..
nope im write peak gain of 15.7 just i a suspected buy the guage on the actual boost controller.

hey ryan......i have a similar problem. what settings did you end up using on your Greddy??? boost/gain/start boost???
 
hey joe, so u dont have that fuel cut prob? or is ur fuel cut fix finished and installed on ur car? I looked on ur site, but it said it was "coming soon"...

I thought it was finished, but it threw a CEL today again after almost 500 miles without one.. It is pissing me off to the point I went to the Dodge dealer to see if they had any SRT 4's there today :). Luckily they didn't....

If you can afford both, get the damn dodge. Who cares tune them both. It would only make sense for you to have one being a DSM guy. Its just the next evolution of turboed crysler cars.
Tune-em both be happy.
Oh and the damn neon will throw a light every 500 miles STOCK !(nuts)
