Im thinking about buying a set of hard pipes for my msp with a hks bov will I have any problems or have to do any other modifications or can I just install and go I have a stock air intake.
Hardpipes will improve the air flow from the turbo and to the intake manifold. You shouldn't have any issues with this. You could relocate the MAF to the cold pipe because it will be more efficient there but not enough to notice. Swap the pipes and it's as simple as that, but make sure you read up on bov venting since you're replacing the bpv with a bov. You may either want the bov to vent to atmosphere or recirculate, which is what the bpv does.
You will have to cut a spot out of the pipes on the cold side big enough for the maf and make sure it's big enough for couplers on each end of the sensor
I bought an ebay kit and it was really cheap and effective. There's a thread on it here, search it up. Be creative with your pipe routing and use other peoples setups as examples. If you just want hard pipes than buy some off of ebay and be creative. All you'll need is a hack saw and beer.
