Hey all,
When accelerating in first gear, if I really give it hard, it makes a weird noise and the whole car vibrates... sounds as slightly metalic.
It happens anytime there is a lot of stress on the transmission and drivetrain. I was told that its probably the engine mounts since they are complete crap on my car, but I wanted to see what you guys might think.
It is easier to re-create the sound when moving from a stop while the wheel is turned in one direction.
I looked at the CV joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links, ball joints, wheel bearings and everything checks out good.
What do you guys think?
