Yep, that's right. Got into an accident this morning on the way to work. Thankfully no one was hurt. Was waiting to make a U-turn, and was stopped next to another vehicle. Got waved on by the other vehicle, and just as he waved me on, SMACK!!! got plowed by an altima.
Amazing thing is how durable the p5 really is. The only damage I can see is a bent quarter panel, scratched and maybe bent rim, and a horrible feeling that my baby is destroyed, although it really isn't. Her car BTW lost the whole front bumper, damaged the radiator, and bent the front left rim.
Fortunately, Honolulu Police said their is no fault found in the accident due to where and how it happened, so we are on our own for fixing the damages. I just hope she doesn't try to sue me.
So, now its time for advice, should I even call the insurance company, or should I try to get it fixed on my own? I am thinking that it should be less than $1000 to get it fixed, but who knows without going there. I just don't want my insurance to go up ya know.
Your help is appreciated, and I'll take all advice and opinions into consideration.
