Whats the difference between:

I can't figure out why the prices are so different Any help would be appreciated.

I would imagine the expensive one is electrical, the cheaper one, mechanical.

on that note what is the difference between mechanical and electrical gauges?

with electrical gause there is no neet to feed a vacuum line ditrectly to the gauge........the measuring mechanism is located right where u splice into the vacuum line in the engine bay.
Electric ones are also more percise.
Less problematic........no possibility of pinching the vacuum line.

but in my opinion are overpriced and not needed for street use, mecanical ones work just as well.

the 4701 is a traditional boost gauge- just has vacuum/boost reading.

the 4776 is a similar to the above (boost/vac reading), but it is more advanced. it has a built-in memory with "peak" and "warning" lights on its face. it also includes the sender, wiring harness, and T-fitting.

you will be fine with the 4701 unless you want to pay for the memory. check autometer.com
