just wondering if the front bumper of a regular protege will be the same as the msp one if i swap the front lip/body-kit piece. Im wanting to say it is but just making sure got to put it in the body shop in a week or two. some non-driving people out there.

No, the protege 5 bumper will be the same except it has a hole on each side for running lights.

I see you have a 2003.5 msp, from my understanding those had the msp bumper/p5 bumber with an added lip. A standard protege DX/LX/ES bumper cannot be made to be the same thing you currently have.

So I could use a p5 bumper an just put the lip on it? Just need to figure this out. Some high school backed into the front of my car.

Yeah p5 bumper would work and the lip will attach, It will have the holes for lights so you can either get those filled at time of paint or add the p5 lights.
