dyno numbers??

Has anyone dyno'd there ms6 stock, or intake, exhaust, basic bolt-ons? just trying to see what people put down for numbers..i know theres a dyno section but its not to active thanks.

well i called dsg and they said 100 dollars for 3 pulls and a/f and boost readings...but we could prob make a deal if we have more then one person go? but that was for this sat?

they will not drop the price. i already asked. it all depends if hes done installing his meth. his car has been knocking like crazy lately.

ya i know but theres not much numbers..jw if any other people have done anything...im hoping for just 220-230hp 240-250 trq...i have a cai and custom cbe lol

I dyno'd mine with the PG SRI+TIP, stage 2 tune, and the Corksport exhaust (no downpipe at the time)

Best run was 249hp/271 lb/ft. of torque on a Dynojet. Not bad. I'm taking it in sometime soon to get it dynotuned so we'll see what numbers I get then with my current setup...

I had my MPS6 remapped and then ran on a Dynojet ...... figures were 302hp/346lb/ft. I have a ETS intercooler, AEM CAI, Denso ITV22's and Turbosmart BPV. PG TIP to be installed soon and then dyno'd again!

i put down 287 whp and 329 wtq on a dyno dynamics dyno. this was with cobb intake& ap( w/ a pro tune) , su tmic, cs dp, cp-e cat back.

oh and as a point of reference. on the same dyno, i put down 201 whp and 227 wtq.

jimmy, carlson, ben, me.. dyno day.. sounds good.. i think that would actually be awesome since were all at different stages with our cars and we could really see the difference in each others numbers, based on what is done to the cars.. Ben has crazy knock huh?? yikes!!!!!!.. id be worried if that were me..

I put down 274 whp / 284 tq on a mustang dyno with my current mods minus the TIP / AP.

Im going to get custom tuned soon with the AP and ill post another thread with the results.

how alot of people also say do it with the hood down?? when i went to a dyno meet last week a friend of mine with a speed3 did it both with the hood down and the hood up and notice like 2-3hp and 10 trq difference

Because the hood is designed to funnel air over the intercooler. So when you have the fan in front of the IC a lot of the air isn't hitting the fins. Unless the fan is on top of the IC.

When I did mine the hood was up but the guy was spraying cold water on the IC. It was cool to the touch even without the water though so . . .
