2013~2016 CX-5 Wiring Issues, Help!

Please, I need help! Having issues with some wiring on my 2016 CX-5 GS. Wiring diagrams aren’t showing what I need (Or I can’t read them anymore).

I have found a plug but don’t know what wires are supposed to go where, colours aren’t matching up. Literally if I just had a photo of one intact I could fix it.

Where is the plug at? It looks like the front end below the passenger side fog light assembly. You think something got pulled off when the impact occurred?

Sorry, should have had that detail in there. Yes behind the passenger headlight assembly. The connections from the headlight combine into this connector on the front harness

It is actually a part of the wiring harness, thankfully there’s no add ons by previous owners.
But they don't look right. 😳 The grey piece usually connects to a similar piece with two or three prongs. Here you have two skinny wires with spades and stripped ends. It looks like a DIY fix to connect to the loose wires from the harness. Anything not working?

I know someone who can decipher this though. Hello @AL Cx5 can you check this out please? 😄

Yeah it looks like that because of the tree that it danced with. The frayed wires are supposed to have a connector which I was able to find off another sub model but not sure what wires go where in the connector. Unfortunately nothing is working, those wire are connected to the starter or safety system in some way. She’s dead in the driveway atm.

Wow!!! Looks like the body shop took a wiring shortcut if I'm reading your post correctly, this is where the impact occurred?

See if AI will point you to a wiring diagram for your year and model.

My limited experience with newer cars, if the ecu sees an imbalance in the load it triggers an alarm. On my d Domestic, an imbalance in the headlights they turn off.

Have you done a deep scan for codes? I haven't read the entire post...it should have some soft codes that will give you a clue.

If the harness is cut up so bad it will be difficult to fix it properly, search for.a used wiring harness. I sold some used wiring harness on FB marketplace. You might find someone parti.g out a CX5.

Or if you have a Pick Part salvage yard, you can remove the harness. I've picked up some deals on stuff like transmissions. I had to remove the trans, what fun..but it was 5x less than a salvage yard price.

You can use other connectors and pins. Unpin the good connector and pin it. You may not own the crimping tool for the style pin. They are inexpensive. Delphi connectors are cheap and easy to pin...

Or take it back to the body shop...ugh...

Good luck...
