Cruise Control!?!

Hey does anybody have any ideas about Cruise control? I didn't even realize it didn't come with any until the day after I bought it. My dealer said that it was not possible to put this on. Seems like a bunch a BS to me. The P5 is so close to the MP3 as far as parts go I was wondering if anyone knew if the P5's cruise will work for us?

Nope, I though of that too and it won't work. We are missing the connections to do it. There is another topic on this in here somewhere. You could look for an aftermarket CC to put on. I found a place by me that would do it for $329 installed. The only thing I didn't like is the cheap looking stalk off of the steering column that they would have put on. The Protege comes with a steering wheel mounted control and there is even a rubber gromet where it should be. I am still looking around for something decent. There are alot of aftermarket CC systems, just finding one that looks good and getting it on is the problem. I agree though that the car should have had it in the first place. I would have rather spent the $350 on a factory CC than have to patch on a aftermarket version.
