creaking brakes?

Hey again - thanks so much for the help with the fuse. I have another - i'm not sure if its an 'issue', but a question...

Brakes work fine, and aren't "SQUEAKING", but when i press the brake pedal, (seems to be mostly at lower speeds???) I hear a creaking noise... it doesn't "seem" to be coming from outside, but from maybe the pedal itself? I'm not sure though.

I was wondering if this is anything I should be worried about or if this is pretty standard?? It's a long drive to go back to the dealer and if it's something easily fixable (i'd need a 'how to' though lol, but i'm good at following directions!) i'd love to learn to do it myself. (Granted, if its relatively easy-to-semi-easy... I don't want to jeopardize my brakes by being over my head trying to fix them- i'm taking baby steps until i feel more confident!) :)

Has anyone run into a creaky brake pedal?? Fixable? Or is it "BAD"?

Thank you so much for your help!!

I just noticed this last night btw, wasn't doing it before. (well... i have been playing my radio kinda loud past couple days lol, but definitely is a recent occurance, was not like that when I first got it about a week ago!)

*gonna keep radio lower now to keep her ears tuned to car from now on* !!!

edited to include: has not been raining etc, not sure if that matters, but in case, they didn't get wet or anything

well shoot now i feel like an idiot, yesterday (with the radio low) i noticed they didn't seem to be creaking at all anymore...

man, this forum is THAT GOOD, just *posting* fixes issues? I need to make sure I visit here more often ;)

You could try getting down under the footwell and seeing if the pedal hinge is a little squeaky. Sometimes plastic-on-metal contacts can make a bit of a creaking sound.
