i think im prob going to get myself a exedy replacement from PG, and the goodridge clutch lines (mines leaking). I was considering buying a new flywheel but i dont want to shell out 400 bucks lol, do you think i can get by with just resurfacing it (78k miles)?

I feel like i read something about resurfacing the flywheel and having issues with it, but i cant fully remember so what do yall think?

You can buy an oem for $50, but unless you run it hard a lot you shouldn't need a new clutch at 80k miles

A properly resurfaced flywheel will not cause any issues. But if its determined that yours is beyond resurfacing then simply buy a new OEM one. You do not need a racing flywheel. Do a rear seal replacement also if you are doing a clutch job.

Have you thought about buying from CR3 Motorsports? I've purchased a majority of my stuff there and the customer service is awesome and I've always got my products quickly. Either way, buying a racing clutch and lighter flywheel can't hurt (if you have the money). The benefit of having a lightweight flywheel is to decrease the amount of rotating mass the engine has to move, thus freeing up hp(sometimes) and allowing quicker revs.

The fidanza flywheel may be too light for a daily driven car and you may not like how quickly the revs drop off. I believe there is a 14lb mazdaspeed flywheel that is a good middle ground between stock and the 7lb fidanza.
