CF Hood

Hey guys, this question is for the guys that have CF hoods, where did you guys buy them from? I see this one on ebay for $180 and shipping is $140, the ad says Grade A but what is the difference from a DG motorsports $499 one? (huh)
What should I do get CF instead an OEM?

dude, carbon fiber hood on ebay? lemme just say you get what you pay for with carbon fiber.

those grade "a" hoods on ebay and alot of sites are poor quality. i have a vis. dont even get a vis. my hood is so thrashed looking, and it really shouldnt be. all faded and clear coat has real bad "rash" marks... if i hadnt got it for free.99, i would have ripped vis a new one. but im gonna get the gemini composite cf hood soon, so all my worries will be gone

i got a fiber images one that cost $725 shipped. it was a grade a hood i have nevr saw a DG hood. i sold it for $350 about 2 weeks ago. i just ordered a black and red hood for crazycaker. i would stay away from ebay cf hood. wilson

i got a vis cf hood...its decent. got it for like 300 shipped from them. i would stay away from the ebay cf hoods though.

i wouldn't buy one from ebay either...i bough willkill's hood the quality of that is soo much better than those cheap ebay hoods

no, but i did get half of the fence up today. could you help me post a photo of my car in the sig. there is a problem with my sig. being to big. i cant work to well with computers but i can fix a furance or a/c. let me know. wilson

I'm about to buy one of them "ebay" cf hoods, but I'm going to pick it up from the seller and save on shipping. I'm definately going to open it up from the box if its boxed, and make sure its good to be put on my car, if not I can just get my credit card credited back easily. I'll install it too right infront of them. I'll probably pick one up on Friday.
