Ahahah I love that movie... anyhow :P Installed Joe P's MBC this morning, started at 7:38, ended at 7:48. Easy install (with help of walkthrough and pics from the site). Hit 9psi on the dot first try, locked it in place tight. Almost missed my exit ramp off to work this morning playing around and watching the boost gauge jump all over :P I felt like a school girl this morning all smiley and giggly every time boost kicked in and I got to watch the gauge go :D Simple things in life please me like a lil orange needle hehe. Gonna go pick up new plugs at lunch time. Anyhow, 9psi and going strong, it sure is fun :) Give's the car that extra lil kick in the tail.

nice ... gj!!

with the increased powa <grin> that this ECU fix that mazda is coming out with, you should be flying :)

where did you hear it was going to increase power? I heard it was only going to cure the hesitation issue.

Hi Everyone,

O.K., I can confirm there is NO HP/TQ Loss. Actually, there are gains in both. Sorry, I can't tell you how much, but you will be VERY impressed.

Also, I do know what they changed, but cannot comment on it yet. Once I get permission to do so, you all will be the first to know.

The Prototype ECU is not a re-flashed Stock ECU. It is different in actual size and it has ports for computer cables to plug into. This ECU is an engineering test unit.

I've had this ECU long enough for it to "learn" and "react." Rest assured that the testing was done correctly and for a sufficient amount of time.

Yeah I cant wait till the new ECU/ECU Flash, I hope its soon, then they can work on this damn clunk!!! thats my only other issue with this car. :( *turns radio back up* hey look, i fixed it :P Although Joe P's FPR really helped the hesitation, but I'm sure a real fix is nice with gains.
