auto or stick?

i found a P5 for really cheap and great miles but the only thing im not sure about is the transmission....its a stick would you guys go for the stick or look around more for the automatic?

If you know how, then buy the manual. Its a lot smoother. I have the auto with the sportronic but the manual is just faster. Plus if you ever want to go turbo you will have less problems to deal with.

I have an auto, and if I could do it all over again, definitely would have gotten a stick. I actually bought an old beater Saturn recently, just so I could have a stick to drive.

Coming from someone with an auto (the car was FREE!), I'd go for a stick for the fun potential. The auto would be better for resale in certain areas of the country, but other than that, you'll have more fun with a stick.

It depends on what you're car is for.If you're a mojor commuter then an auto might be more desirable. Or get one auto & then buy another one thats stick LOL

Second that. The stick will also give you better MPG than the auto unless you do 100% highway driving. The manual should also be more reliable in the long run. One caveat: some of the O2 manuals had problems with weak shift forks but that design flaw was eliminated for later models.
