OK.....FINALLY GOT AROUND TO POSTING THE SPECIFIc...DETAILED DIRECTIONS FOR THE MEET...
WHEN: FEB. 17th
TIME: Hope to have everyone meet up at SONIC by 7:30pm and head out to the track by 8pm....ill be at SONIC probably around 7pm-7:15pm if anyone gets there earlier.
Track Time & Cost: Track is open from 6pm-11pm
Cost is GATE:$10 per person.. $5 tech card
DIRECTIONS: (if you would like i can PM anyone going my Cell # in case you get lost)
OK......i'm going to do this with as much detail as i possibly can in order to insure that none gets lost....since we are all planning on meeting at the SONIC near the track.....i will post directions to get to the SOnic first than i will post directions to the track....
Sonic Meeting Directions:
1. Anyone coming from the north (ie...tampa, ocala, St. Pete or anyone coming off of I-4) take I-75 South towards Naples.....take EXIT 220 as you exit off the interstate......stay to the right and take a RIGHT on to STATE RD. 64....after you take the right onto STATE RD 64....continue straight down the road.....in order to make sure you are going the right way....some landmarks you will see asyou drive are.....a bunch of Truck Stop/Gas-Stations....(ie...Racetrack, Waffle House) As you continue down the road you will see a SUPER WALMART on your Right.....as well as a BRIGHT HOUSE CABLE COMPANY building on the right as well. After you pass 3-4 traffic lights you should come upon a shopping center on your RIGHT which includes a PUBLIX in that shopping center....is where SONIC is located....you cant miss it. If you dont see any of these landmarks.....you are going the wrong way.....you probably need to turn around and go the opposite way..
2. Anyone coming from the south (ie...sarasota,ft.myers,naples) take I-75 North to Tampa....take EXIT 220 as you exit off the interstate......take a left....(CAUTION: there has been construction on that side of the interstate....) so you may have to take a right and go down the road and make a U-TURN.....but make sure you go left off the interstate...no matter if you can turn left or you have to go down and make a u-turn.... you will basiclly follow the same directions that are stated above..........in order to make sure you are going the right way....some landmarks you will see as you drive are.....a bunch of Truck Stop/Gas-Stations....(ie...Racetrack, Waffle House) As you continue down the road you will see a SUPER WALMART on your Right.....as well as a BRIGHT HOUSE CABLE COMPANY building on the right as well.
