This is VERY true. Definately more than the K&N filter I had before. Even after washing it the first time I thought there was too much oil on it. So I sprayed it down with brake cleaner and got most of that oil off. I'll soon be switching to a dry filter.
 
My car stalls with the Perrin, its sitting in my garage being useless. Perrin has been promising a revised part for 5 months now, although they haven't answered my last couple emails. I'm starting to doubt it will arrive.
