Am I Doing Something Wrong!!!!!!!!!

:'( WTF im trying to take out the face plate that surrounds the radio and the ac knobs!!! but that s*** dont want to come out !!! am i doing something wrong is ther some specail button that fricken makes the face plate magicly detatch from the ac cntrols!!!! i cant pull it ou far enought to get to the 4 screws that hold that ac controls off.. this is fustrating i cant get that crap off any suggestion or am i the only one with the this problem????

did you disconnect the HVAC cables? (the two rigid ones?)

thre are 7 clips that hold the center trim in place.

You have to disconnect the control cables from the A/C where they connect to the car, then everything will slide out.
But first what are you trying to do? If you are trying to remove the radio you do not need to remove the faceplate as the radio comes out on it's own. If you need to work on the trim then go ahead and remove it.

that was a pain to take out.. i couldnt get my radio out on account that some ameture tried to jack my "FACTORY RADIO" what kind of ****** tries to steal a factory radio. ohh well thats what i get for forgeting to lock my doors. ****** that s*** all up...... he messed it up soo bad i could get my factory radio out he bent those thing that hold the radio in and couldnt get it to clear the plastic houseing. was thinking that taking the face plate surrounding it would make it easier but it didint.... guess the ****** didnt know all you had to do was jamsomething in the little hole to unlock the radio too pull it out. ohh well now that its out guess i can buy new radio and paint my trim pieces to hide the dmg. still want to know what kind of ****** tries to still a factory radio....

i got my new radio(with a detachable faceplate) trying toget into the habbit of taking it off and and keeping it with me. i got most to all my trim pieces painted. want to paint my ac vent trim too but i noticed that one of the vent trims are fake...so i would have to actually paint it on the dash...next pieces to paint are door handles and ac vent trim and the trim around the door lock switches. id take a pictur of everything and post it but the thf broke open my glovebox and stole my camera. i dont know why i locked that for figur if some one gonna break into your car to steal s*** a lock glove box wont really stop them. would have had alot less dmg to repair and replace if i didnt lock my glove box. but than again if i would have just remembered to lock my doors none of this would have happened. need to invest in a good alarm too >< man money money money!!! i need lots of it but got none of of it.
