Just passed 64K miles. So far, been to NYC a couple of times, and next month we'll be taking a trip to MD/DC. Here she is doing family duty in RI last week:

We had the windshield replaced last month after a stone chip cracked it. I noticed a popping noise coming from the base of the window, right along the cowl. Tonight I decided to take a peek and popped the cowl off. First off, there were two razor blades in there. One was stuck to the gasket and rubbing on the plastic cowl. So I removed them, tightened the 10mm bolts under the cowl, some were pretty loose. I then added a piece of foam weatherstripping under the cowl trim. I noticed that lots of hot engine air enters the cabin if I have no AC on and just the recirculate set to fresh air. This engine gets hot and the damper is right there, so I figured this may seal it off more from the engine bay. I'll update the forum if it works. No more popping noise!

Second I noticed that I have to change the engine mounts. The pass side one is leaking,so I'm assuming they are all shot. Any idea where the heck the driver side one is? Under the battery tray?

Lastly, my driver side sliding door has been creaking badly. I checked the latch screws on the door and they were very loose. Tightened them up with an impact screwdriver and tightened the striker post's hex bolts too. No more creaking sounds.

So far, one year and three months ownership. I've replaced the brakes all around, rear shocks, changed the transmission fluid, added tint and 2012 16" wheels. Oh, I need to address two new door dings and touch up quite a few stone chips. Then I have to buff the heck out of the paint. This paint is so thin, it shows everything. Then I'll be ready for the fall!

what process did you use to change the transmission fluid? i want to do it myself, but i've never done an automatic fluid service before. (i've done manuals MANY times)

I did just a basic drop and fill 3 times driving a little in between each fill. Next time I'll drop the pan and replace the filter.

WOW your engine bay looks CLEAN (body too)! I never clean mine :p

Let us know if the additional weather stripping helps reduce in cabin heat. I can't really see what kind of strip you used but I would think the factory rubber seal 'should' compress when you close the hood to provide a good seal. Maybe the factory seal gets worm out easily.?. Will have to take a look at mine.
