Recently I have just bought a 2003 protege and it has a little over 27,000 miles on it
It sat for a decent amount if time and it seems to be running really sluggish upon acceleration. Once it gets up to speed it seems to be okay maybe a little sluggish but not nearly as bad l
It feels like sometimes the car is ready to accelerate fine but other times it literally feels like the car is starting out in 2nd gear and just crawling to speed. ( I Tryed starting manually in 1st gear still same problem )
The car is an automatic.
I drove my buddies car same car and everything and his car can break the tires loose from a dead stop. Mine not even close.
What should I change? Spark plugs? Anything? The filter is clean
