Sup Necessity! Sorry I couldn't stay longer and had to jet out of there, but I was late for work. Riding in that 2004 Viper was MORE than worth it though:D :D

Hank, what time did you get there?

Don't sweat it. That viper sure looked fun. I signed up last night for the oct 19 run at Fedex. Signups started last night at 8.

Where do we sign up for the next autox......i wanna go i wanna go (that's what my MSP has been saying all year)

DOH i'll be running by myself? Any other MSP want to do autox? I'm in the DS class. Haven't signed up yet, 2 slots available, but also don't want to be the only one there twiddling my thumbs.

funkycold don't worry about it, you won't be alone out there!

I'll make sure I come up to say hi to you!

btw thanks again for the excellent pics!!!!

oh, and I need to give props to all the Mazda6 guys that showed up and ran quite well their first time out, some of them (including Necessity here) actually beat my RX-7 times in their 6!!! (I'm ashamed :( )

but fear not! hopefully I will have better wheels/tires on by the time the FedEx event comes around, better watch out then muahahahhaha

***begin excuse for poor showing***

btw, this was only the SECOND TIME I've been out on the course in the 7. RWD behaves totally different compared to how my Protege behaves on the course.

don't worry, I'll cut down on my times after another event or two :D

*** end excuse rant***

:D

Well Hank. I've actually been pricing out 2nd gen rx7's. I may pick on up just for racing purposes!!

Any suggestions on what to look for?

depends on how much $$ you want spend to fix it up after getting the car.

you can either buy a FC with a blown engine for really cheap and get it rebuilt/new engine for it, or find one with a new engine in it already.

try asking in the rotary forum here, some of the other FC guys here will also have good suggestions!
