Hi, my name is garrett. I am considering making an offer on your engine and ecu but had a couple questions. The zl ve is the japanese spec version of my zmde in my 99 protege, but it has the svt head? And also do you have any idea of the mileage on the motor? Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon

Derrick, what would be required to do this? would i need to rewire a lot? i'm sure i'm going to need some wiring since the stock ZM didn't have VVT and the actuator would need some sort of signal....also, are the manifolds different? specifically the exhaust one. i've got a set of headers for my ZM and i don't want to have to sell them and lose more $$$.
and if you could PM me the price shipped that would be great.

zlve harness and ecu, the zlve come with 4-2-1 headers, works great

what do these motors make for power?

Makes 130hp and has a rev limit of 7000rpm vs the zmde 6500.

makes me wonder if that power is because of the variable cam timing only or compression as well
I would like to get one of those heads and drop it on my B6 engine block to use.
