Zaino vs NXT

Well, after about 5-10 times of waxing with zaino, I definitely am impressed with the results. I don't know about the other waxes but I can see a clear reflection of the taillights on the bumper. Not just red but the actual tail lights reflection on the bumper. I was like (bow) and (omg). I have never seen any wax do that before.
I'm happy with zaino

If i had a digital camera, id show but i dont yet. waiting for my dad to get his Nikkon N80 Digital camera.

NXT is the s***! Made my Yellow MSP look GRRREEEEEEAAAAAAATTTT! Very happy with THAT purchase!!!

well, I'm officially never using a mothers or meguiars product again.

Spent today putting on 3 coats. It wasn't really warm enough for it to bond right, but I can still see a nice difference. Easiest wax I have EVER put on. After 3 coats, I'm not tired at all. No sore arms, neck or back.

It goes on very easy. In a liquid form almost. If you can put pledge on your coffee table, you can do this. It comes off just as easy. No hard buffing. And there is no white paste to deal with. After 3 coats, my buffing cloths have almost nothing on them. After using Mothers, I had to throw them out. it's like removing dust from furniture. you can also wax EVERYTHING. Wheels, trims, plastic's, head lights, tails etc etc. No need to worry about the wax staining black trim like typical waxes.

I used the ZFX additive. It's a process where you mix 1-2 oz wax (z2 or z5)with 3-5 drops of ZFX liquid s***. I used 1 oz, and got 3 coats of the entire car, and did my wheels twice. The 2003.5 wheels look awesome with Zaino on them. Damn mirror's. The mixing is a damn joke. I've seen some complain about having to do this. Give me a damn break you lazy sob's :) These people probably can't make their own coffee either.

I had some damage on my roof from either the woman using the snow brush where she wasn't supposed to.... #$%$%$#%. Or a cat or something. I used some 3m swirl remover before I zaino'd but after I clayed, and you'll see the difference in a bit after that and 3 coats of zaino. I also had someone bump the car in a parking lot the winter, and have a rub mark on my rear bumper. You'll see the difference there as well. I have seen much better waxes when it comes to filling fine scratches. This is not zaino's strength. At least not with just 3 coats. I could see them fill in though, and I am sure after many coats, the scratches will be gone. Some are gone already. And since Zaino is a sealant, they should be GONE for quite a while where other waxes would wash off at 1st rainfall. Zaino claims after 10 coats, you have a new clear coat.....ummmm, ok, I'll have to try this first.

Give me a sec to get the pictures uploaded. I have to resize them and stuff. I had a hard time capturing the difference as the sun was heading behind the hills and wasn't great for pics. I'll get some more the week. Zaino is supposed to cure for a few days to get the best shine/feel anyways.

Here we go

This is Clay, then 3 coats of Z5, z5 detail spray between each coat. Meguiars tire gel for the tires.

two more after shots

I think you get the idea. I'm going to let this sit for about 2 weeks, and then I'm going to cover it using z2. And compare.

I feel bad, on monday, all the coats of zaino ive put on is coming off so that i can clay bar it and redo the WHOLE process. :(
Zaino is by far THE best wax I've used on any car. It got rid of the ton of swirl marks on my dad's IS300 and has gotten rid of some fine scratches that i got from someone putting a notebook on my roof. All those coats, gone. Should have clay barred before i started the whole process. ALWAYS CLAY BAR B4 STARTING THIS WAX. lol
BTW, nice pics man. can c a massive difference

clay baring alone won't take off Zaino. It'll only take off a portion of your last few coats.

At least that is what I have read, and that supposively came from Sal.

100% Alcohol, and there are few strong wax cleaners ( nothing you'll be able to get from wally mart) that will do it.

Again, I have not tried. I'm a new Zaino user, don't take my word for it. And Claying is the best thing you can do before any wax really. My paint is REALLY smooth. I tried to take a picture of a Zaino bottle on the roof of the car for reflection purposes but it wouldn't stay there, too slippery :)

I know, I feel bad because I am going to have to use dishwasher soap and strip all the coats and then start the whole process over which isn't something I want to do but it's the only way to get my car looking even better.

dishwasher soap ( Dawn ) will strip normal wax, but not zaino.

O s***, does that mean I gotta wash it a few times with dishwasher soap? Thats not good since i was planning to redo everything 2morrow.
man, this just keeps makin me hate myself for not clay barring it in the first place. Thx for telling me so that I dont go and waste a claybar.

ya, i try keeping a towel on the hood after i wax it and theres no way in hell it will stay. I just laugh each time b/c my friends car had zaino on it and not even masking tape would stick to his car when he was putting on his side panels on his Acura MDX.
