your first 500 dollars to spend on your mp5

The shifter is totally a must . along with springs they will make you feel like your ready for the track !!
I remember my first $500 it was over 6 months ago and $9500 ago !!

the first mods i wanted to do were to get the tein s-tech springs and powercoat my wheels black. but then i reliazed that the stock struts would eventually go out, so i wanted to do those 2 mods when i had money for tokico struts. this brings a good question to mind, about how long would the stock struts last on tein s-tech springs? i live in tucson, so the roads arent that bumpy. my first mod with money will surely be a injen CAI. im actually doing the headlight baking this weekend with tonkabui. weeeeee. then the next weekend we might do the ground wiring, since i got the hook up at best buy.

You will love the ground wiring thing. I did it on my civic and noticed a huge differance in idleing and throttle response.

My "first mod" suggestions:

Get tint.. p5 looks like a soccer mom car unless it has a good tint job.. This is VERY IMPORTANT.. if you don't.. people will ask you where you got your minivan from...

3M coating on the front of your hood and headlights/fogs.. the paint blows.. doing this when your car is new will help keep your front end looking new.. as apposed to like it has measles.. like a lot of these cars do within a year..

Screw performance! if you want true performance you have to spend mega bucks (ie. turbo, engine swap).

tint and system IMO

$30 blue bulbs work good and not $500 for HID

If you want true performance.. you bought the wrong car.. either take it back to the dealership and trade it for something else.. or admit that it's all show, no go.. and put your money into making it look even better..and helping it STAY looking beautiful

I agree to a sertain extent. The P5 is not a "performance" car. The RX is. If you want a performance car....you bought the wrong one. However, our car does look great, and gives a modest amount of spunk.

Go for tint, that is a must. I didn't list it as a future mod of mine becuase I didn't think it was really a "mod". Maybe I should?

Exhaust, not only because of the slight gain in performance, but the sound is bad ass, and the looks are great. The intake for the same reasons. Even if you are the only one that knows it there (for the most part).
