You First Big Damage

There are many many , many stone chips on my car and each one pains me.
The entire front half of my MSP is so full of those kinda chips that it makes me want to scream. It's cause my MSP is my only car, my daily driver, my year-round vehicle -- so I have to drive it in the winter when the dumbfucks around here lay down salt AND gravel whenever they THINK that it MIGHT snow. Then I take the highway to work/classes, with all the effin' tractor-trailers, which kick up EVERYTHING. My front bumper, grill, lip, hood and even my front FENDERS have stone chips from that s***. It INFURIATES me, cause there's literally nothing I can do about it .. other than walk.

And then, of course, there's a dent about 2 inches long over my passenger side wheel well -- from someone in a parking lot opening their door into the side of my car. I remember coming out and seeing that -- I went apeshit. But y'know, they're always gone by the time you get back and they never leave a note.

The only damage on my MSP that I'm personally responsible for is a very small scratch on my rear lip, on the underside where you can't even see it. I misjudged the height of an uneven stone wall when I was backing up once, and one of the higher rocks just barely caught the bottom of the lip. Not such a big deal, you can't even see it unless you're lying on the ground.

It happened when I was driving down the 10 fwy heading eastbound at night. I was in the left lane, following a few cars when I noticed that they slowed down abruptly. So, I moved one lane over to the right and then that's when I noticed a tire snake rolling at me. I was going around 70 when I hit that damn thing. It dented my license plate pretty good, popped out the mustache on the right side, broke some of the honeycomb grills and put some scratched on the bumper near the grill

I pitted my clutch pedal, I musta got a stone caught in my work boot sole and pitted up my clutch pedal because of it. i cant even replace the pedal itself because its welded to the clutch arm.

That's exactly why I want one of the 3M clear bras for the MS3... I've got a few chips in under a month and it's already driving me crazy, I'm going to try and sweet talk my way into one for Christmas.

Not quite on topic, but oh well. today my son and i were returning from looking at an 88 323 all wheel drive turbo. We were stopped at the red light with hardly any traffic Me and the boy are in deep philosophical discussion so my attention is not on the road as it usually is and should be. the light turns green and boom we get pushed through intersection. I look in mirror and see middle aged woman confused and boom again she hits us again. Luckily just sore necks for me and the boy and no injury to the woman. Of course I am upset that it happened and the car is damaged. My Corksport tailpipe got pushed alittle and you can see her license plate imprint on the rear bumper. Not the worst but it was one of the hardest hits i have taken in a car. The little Mazda took car of us though. She was doing at least forty . And she said she did not know what happened at all. I just started to wonder if she got rearended when I got the second hit? I've had a little shock I guess and hope I am not too sore tomorrow. Oh well new bumper and stuff I guess. Just sucks when somebody hurts yur baby. oh and my son too!

Holy crap that sucks. I've had some friends who are...idiots...and didn't step on their brakes hard enough to completely stop. They slowly inch forward towards the car in front while they look for CDs or whatever and end up read-ending the car up front. Ah...seriously, I have some stupid friends.

On a side-note, I had a late-night dinner with all of my co-workers a few days back (the store pays for our meal). Before we left the store to go eat, a co-worker ran right by my car and bumped into my side-mirror really hard. As a joke, I yelled out "MY CAR!!!" instead of "are you okay?" She didn't know i was joking and ended up telling everyone what kind of jerk I am for being so insensitive. Ah...dang Koreans who can't speak English (I'm Korean, born and raised in U.S.).

Spoiler. My pops was cleaning up my car last winter with the brush without my permission lol. He didn't realize how high my spoiler was, and clipped it with the sharp end of the brush. Snow was about a foot high on the roof of my car, so I understood his nice gesture, but wasn't too pleased.

...I just found three (YES THREE) lines across my rear-left door. My work place is adjacent to a supermarket and I can only ASSUME that someone hit me with a shopping cart. I mean, the lines just happen to match up and all so I can only ASSUME that they hit my car. It's not even just lightly scratched, neither; the three lines are deep AND all three of the lines are dented where the shopping cart made initial contact. I found it today when I took it to the audio-shop I go to in order to brace my woofer-box to stop it from moving when I hit a speed bump. OMG I feel like s*** right now and just wanna find and kill the person. Any idea how much a repair shop will charge to fix my door?

IDK if you guys care about MZ3's but too bad,
I was rolling into a parking lot and was watching the guy behind me cause he wasn't slowing down fast enough and nobody wants to be rear ended or deal with the body shops but I didn't correctly calculate where the curb was to my front right wheel and curbed my front right rim while the rear just popped up and over the curb. It's pretty gnarley but not quite enough to get a new rim. Hopefully they aren't bent and curb rash can always be sanded slightly and polished to make it look less...destructive to the car's overall appearance.

you do not want to know. At some point in time you might have to live with minor dings dents and f'n stone chips. I also have had some anger issues, and I had the person responsible for passing me on a freshly stoned road. He even knew what he was doing when he passed me. I was waving out my window the slow down signal as I tried to get off the road. I was way hot and ready to do bad bad things. Turns out I caught up to him. And pulled up as he parked his car to go in to work. While still in my car and starting to tremble with fury I asked him, do you know what you just did to my new car? He shrugs and says, "whatever". I will tell the rest of the story another time. But s*** is gonna happen for sure, eventually, no matter how careful you are. sucks.

The first day I had my car a rock hit my windshield right infront of my wiper sensor. I didn't think anything of it until I went home parked then came back out a couple of hours later with a crack down the center of my entire windshield. Needless to say I had to get it replaced and luckily my insurance covered it.

Even with my new windshield I have had three dime size rock chips that I had repaired. Damn all the Road Contruction in Maryland and Virginia

A cop car on the interstate kicked a rock about the diameter of a quarter at my car this morning. I heard the CLUNK sound so I knew it would be bad.

I pulled into the first place I could to take a look. Two nice paint chips right above my right fog light. One of them even dented the panel a bit.

Oh well, I'm glad I already got my touch up paint. I'll be using that on it tonight. These cars are our daily drivers... I guess it's impossible to keep them perfect.

So the other night i was going on one of those stress relief drives, at like, 11 at night. So im takin this semi sharp turn, and right when the turn started, was newely paved road, with that little black gravle s*** all over the road. Well it was dark and couldent tell the difference between old and new road. Right when i hit that gravle i went sliding into the curb, bending my front right rim, and jamming some expensive ass rod that goes from left front to right front wheel( not the axle, think the guy called it a stearing rod??). Also have some small scratches on the bumper on that same side, but they are at the very bottom of the bumper and you cant see them unless you bend down and look. week later and 2500 bucks poorer i got her back lol.

i got maybe 1/8th of a mile down the street and a big tractor trailer drove by me in the other direction and spit a rock into my windshield and left a nasty puck. still there to this day. other than that.....oh wait....some asshole scratched my driver side fender. about two inch's long and metal deep. i filled it in with the stock a4a paint the best i could with a matchbook cover and buffed it in. its very noticeable....to me anyways....and the touch up paint is like red water. its so thin and doesn't do s***. FYI

It would be so funny if he or she respond back like "D'oh!"...or even better: (doh)
