You First Big Damage

I was at a friends house when some dumbass mexican who lived under him parked next to me, and went swinging for the fence with his car door, of course.. no english and no insurance

Borrow the Car?!?!?!

Well one of my friends asked to borrow my brand new car (1800 miles). Well I trusted him, plus because I had talked up my new car, he knew that it was my "baby"! Well I had told him that it had 6 gears and that you had to push down to get it in reverse. Well...he obviously didn't listen. He put it in 1st (what he thought was reverse) and proceeded to look out the back window. Then let out the clutch and rammed the truck's license plate parked in front of him. Then he looked at the truck in front of him found no damage and then drove to the store. When he came out of the store he noticed the huge dents in my hood and scratches on my bumper! He immediately came and got me but the damage was already done. He ended up paying for the dealership to fix the dents which cost him $680! The best part was when I got it back from the dealership it had 50 extra miles that weren't on the car before and another huge 2" X 4" dent on the passenger front fender right on the crease. I didn't notice till two days after I took it home so they wouldn't fix it.

i got a rock kicked up on the freeway at 4000 miles that safelite filled. then at 8900 i got rear ended on the way home from a ultrasound. that was this monday and i still havent had it fixed its waiting on the adjuster to get over here lol.

lets see i have many nicks in the hood from rocks getting kicked up and i got a nice little gash from a mustange that pulled right behind me while i was trying to back out of a parking space. i also found a chip in the windsheild i have no clue were it came from owe well its a car. better it then me

Curb did a rim job... :(

I was parking in Downtown Decatur, IL and i didn't realize my tire was so close to the curb... So of course I hit the curb and then the curd skimmed on my rim so now I have a starch in the middle of my rim and it looks like s***.

Anyone know what to do to get it out beside buy a whole new rim?

there's a few ppl in the For Sale section selling stock OEM wheels. I think one person was selling just one actually... sorry to hear the story!

I was at a pig roast we throw every year at a close friends and I backed the M6 into a huge rock which scratched the s*** out of my rear bumper on the passenger side. I felt like an ass!

Shortly after having the windows tinted I backed into a sign, knocked it over. I got out took a look.Only damage at that point was a small scratch in bumper. I had to pull ahead to get the sign base out from under the car. When i did that the sign attached to the base was pulled forward by the bumper and shattered the rear window. Luckily the tint prevented the glass from falling into the car. Sure felt liked a dufuss, unfortunately there was an audience tosee this performance.

I've been reading this thread and decided it was time to share my horror story, hopefully there's not too many other stories worse than this. It happend last December, when I had my 07 Speed3 GT for about 3 monthes. I was on my way to my gfs when all of a sudden an 18 yr old kid delivering pizzas pulled out from a stop sign in front of me where I did NOT have a stop sign and was going around 35mph. All I could was try to steer away but it didnt do much and so he t-boned the passenger side of the car. He admitted fault right away and I called the police and eventually I limped my car with a police car following me to my gfs house.
The only saving grace was her step dad is a service manager for BMW and so my car was taken to a good body shop that he sends customers cars to from the dealership. The initial estimate was $7000, but after all the work they did it ended up being around $10,000. They replaced all the rear suspension components and as mad as I was I realized there were worse things that could have happened like someone getting hurt and so all I wanted was my car back to normal. Besides me knowing the car was in the accident it felt just like I remembered when I got it back. Here are pics of the damages, I had my 16" wheels and snow tires on also at the time.

Windy day in February, top of a Maple tree broke off. Dents and dings everywhere, broken windshield. $8,000 of Comprehensive Insurance claim. :(

ok I would rather have a knife put up to my throat but this time around since our speedsters are already lowered, I managed to curb it twice and on both occasions luckily the curb wasnt high enough/scratch the lower corner of the bumper!!!! It just slightly scraped the black "mud guards" phew now I stay awake and alert at all times (glare) when backing up givin more room (bang)

First big damage occured last october, almost a year ago to the day. I was sitting at a red light and got rear ended. Had to get a new bumper put on the vehicle.

Other than that, I have no significant damage on the vehicle.

everytime some one drives my 5 it comes back damaged

- employee hit brick paver wall in driveway
- brother ran over dead deer and broke crossmember and exhaust supports
- wife backed out of steep driveway too fast/wrong angle, ripped front lip off
- wife turned too sharp out of ATM lane at bank, destroyed side skirt
- wife followed semi truck too close, got rock lodged in windshield

sigh

Well. . . first off, I have two first big damages (sadly on two MS3's).

My first one was back in February. My Cosmic Blue MS3 had less than 3000 miles and was 29 days old. That night I was driving around in some mountain near my university and I stupidly and recklessly under-steered in a corner that led my car into a fence and like 3 ft drop. The factor that made this worse was the sudden drop of the corner which I greatly underestimated; because of it my back tires jumped and lost traction. *sigh*
Obviously the car was totalled.

A month later my insurance gave me the check to get a new one, so I bought a Black MS3 (the one I currently drive). Then after two weeks with it I saw a girl I used to go out with and decided to say hi. She ended up telling me some shocking things and while taking my car out of the lot I backed into a pole. Woot! Funny thing was, the same day I totalled the first one I saw her for the first time after a month or so. Obviously, whenever I see that chick I stay away. lol >.<;;;;

I do not have any pictures of those horrid moments. D=

Sounds like "wife" should not be allowed to drive said vehicle.
