woooo. i got a guy whos going to put some touch up paint, wet sand, and buff it. says it should come out. its about two inches long over my driver side front fender. assholes.

Might not even need touchup paint.

Go grab a tube of Meguiar's Scratch-X, a microfibre, and try polishing perpendicular to the scratch. It might actually hide a lot of it.

I got u beat. My car used to be yellow until someone broke my rear window and scratched profanity on every panel and hood:trunk of my car. The only thing they didn't touch was my roof. All this happened in less than a month purchasing the car used from a local car sales shop. The damage was done new years morning 2004. Check my sig link for the damage when the car was yellow. I know this isn't a competition but any scratch hurts. I had to drive around for a couple weeks with a scratched to hell car before the insurance kicked in.

yeah that scratch doesnt look deep enough for touch up, but its def too deep for scratchX to make a dent by hand.

im pretty sure it can be machine polished out. know anyone with decent rotary, or DA skills?

I don't think it hurts to try ScratchX. It won't make things worse, and at the very least it may hide it a bit.

There's no need to get the whole panel resprayed unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket (in which case, give some to me).

nah its got a few spots of primer within the scratch. my buddy has all the tools to fix it up. once it gets done ill update the post and show yall how it came out. wont be for a little while though. maybe a week or two.
