Mazda 3S 4-Door (Titanium)
Hey guys, excuse me if this topic is worn out, but upon searching this forum, I couldn't find much on replacement pedals on the 3. There was a forum about the spacing of the pedals, which is one of the primary reasons why I want to replace them. I've seen several sites out there that sell racing pedals, but I really don't know what to look for when it comes to brand, size, installation, and cost.

Does anyone have anymore insight on this? What brands are good and compatible? I did see someone's sparco replacements, but it sounded like they were a b**** to put on.

HELP!!!!!! (uhm)

Almost all pedals are a pain in the @ss to install, especially the accelerator...apparently even more so on the 3. Many aftermarket pedals are universal fit, so choose the ones you want by their appearance, construction, size, etc.

Momo, Sparco and Razo are the top three that come to mind.

I've installed pedals on my two previous vehicles and I'll probably never do it again. However, Mazda does have a set of pedals in their accessories brochure, but unfortunately they aren't available yet, up here anyway.

buy real pedals.. where u drill them on.. dont buy the bulls*** slip over ones.. my gas one came off.. and got wedged under my brake.. now lucky for me i have a p5 on 18s with a shitload of stuff piled in it.. so i was only doin about 25.. LoL.. but still.. cheap pedals = the sux0rz

That's essentially what Momo (some), Sparco (some) and Razo sell.

So are these technically slip over pedals? They look like you have to bolt/drill on....

slip on pedals use 2 metal bands that wrap under the pedal to hold them on.
the real pedals require drilling and screws.. ill post up some new pics of my custom pedals tomarrow -=P

slip on pedals are fine as long as you tighten them down real tight. Mine have been on since november 2002 and haven't moved since i put them on. And yes, those are slip on pedals...

Mine didn't have metal bands underneath, they hade 4 clips with teeth. So they are tightened super tight.

I would personally like to thank the Montreal Canadiens for screwing us up by winning their series with the Boston Bruins. (nuts)
