This may be a stretch
A long time ago, I had an '80 Celica with clear fog lights. They had glass lenses and the amber bulbs didn't make it. I found a product in a craft shop for coloring glass or plexiglass to make stained glass looking windows. This stuff was basically colored plastic disolved in Toulene to the consistancy of enamel paint. It was completely translucent, came in 1 oz. bottles, in about 2 dozen colors, and bonded very well to both glass and plastic. With a toulene solvent base, it actually etched any plastic you put it on. I mixed orange and yellow to get the tint I wanted. I thinned the product out for spraying and sprayed it on the inside of the glass lenses of my fog lights with an airbrush. For the five years I had the car, the stuff never chipped off. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the product was called, nor do I know if it still exists, but it worked great. Jim
