Yakima Control Towers on P5?

I'm looking for rack options on my 2003 Protege5. I just saw the Yakima Landing Pads and Control Towers. This looks like a great way to use all Yakima mounts on the P5. Unfortunately, I called Yakima and they said they don't make any Landing Pads to fit the P5 rack. I remember that this is also what they said about their Mighty Mounts, causing me to buy a set of their hideous Universal Mighty Mounts. Then I saw that someone here found one of the specific Mighty Mounts that does fit the P5 rack. I'm wondering if anyone has done trial and error to see if any of the Landing Pads will work on the P5? Any help would be appreciated.

Thule 430 Tracker Foot Pack

I think you will like this link... I work at a rack shop and Thule bike, snowboard and overall racks are better than Yakima, by far... The hitch racks however, yakima has the market on those. I have been running this setup for almost a full year now with extremely spirited driving and a 33 pound Heckler with a 20mm through axlo on a forkup and up to 2 other bikes with no problems whatsoever.
