:) Sorry everyone. Just excited 'cuz my rims finally come in tomorrow according to the call I received from UPS this afternoon. The guys at work hate my love for cars, and my wife doesn't really give a rats a$$, so I just had to tell someone that would listen and not yell at me for being excited.
I'll be sure to post pics once I get them put on. Oh BTW, they are G-racing Seki 18's in hypersilver. (wiggle)

No pics of my ride yet, as the rims aren't coming until Wednesday(tomorrow), but I will post them once they are here. In the meantime, here are some photochops I did of the rims on a yellow p5.
The first pic is a rough draft of what the car is going to look like after this weekend. I know some, if not most, of you don't like graphics on cars. I however, do like them, so you can flame me if you want, I am ready and don't care, but I live by the motto.."Whatever I like is fine."
I Don't remember whose p5 that is in the last 2 pics, I think its mypfizzles. It started as a silver ride, then photochopping came into effect. Thanks to who ever's it is for the great pics to start with.
OK real pictures of my ride tomorrow after install!

NO RIMS TONIGHT!!! AARRGGHHH!!!

Those BASTARDS!!!!! They lost my rims!!! That's right, UPS lost my shipment. They think they forgot to send them from their 2nd stop before getting on the plane to Hawaii.
I contacted UPS, and they told me that they were scanned in on the 29th in Albuquerque, NM, enroute to Hawaii for a delivery time of 1400hrs. SO, I take off work to wait excitedly by the window waiting to see the man in Brown. At 1600, still no UPS, so I call them, and they tell me that "Yes they were scanned in New Mexico, but they never made it off the plane." How in the F#$K do they not make it off the plane?!?!? So now they have to put a search out for them, and I have to wait for them to find them.
I cannot believe I paid so much for the damn shipping to this rock they call paradise (yes, I had to pay $524 for shipping), and they forget them on the damn plane, or lost them all together.
Sorry fellas, just had to vent, I am so pissed off right now. If they ever find them, I'll keep you posted.

I might hear a shipping refund? I know we had a cylinder head we had to get shipped to Mexico right at the thanksgiving/x-mas time of the year and it was ups's last day running for the year/week, and we had shipped it next day air early AM, and get this the driver had scanned it saying it had already been delivered at like 8 that morning and it in fact did not get to the customer until like 1 that afternoon. Needless to say we gave good ole UPS a call and they said you should see a credit on your next billing cycle. I think the driver may have also got in trouble for doing that but, hey what do ya get, shouldnt lie.

that ****** sucks.. i thought u were getting free shipping tho? id ask for a refund from ups.. not the company that shipped it.. but actual ups.. because they ****** up..

Yeah, I was getting free shipping, but since I wanted to get them quick, and since I got the rims for so cheap, I paid to have them shipped 2 day air. It still came out to around $1410 with shipping, which was better than any other deal I could find. I am gonna be nice and give them til tomorrow to come through, if not, I am going fighting.

living in hawaii suckS!!!!!! im still waiting dude, i feel your pain, but dawm losing it? thats f*d up. where did u order your rims from? i got mine from wheelmax.com and its 1510 :( and its coming on boat too. thats gay.. they said they cant fly it over, but only ship it over. im like wth. and instead of sending it from LV, the sent it from Florida?!!?!? i mean god dawm im sure vegas is much closer than florida... dont worry dude, maybe our rims will come in at the same time, then we throw party haha. good luck man. - chris

Well I for one would most definately ask them ...strike that tell them to give you a refund. I wouldn't ask for all of it back but sure as hell wouldn't pay for 2 day. Good luck and keep us posted

Oh and for L8r the wheels were most likely taken out to somewhere like Long Beach or Tacoma or maybe even Houston and then put on boat and then sent over. I am assuming wheelmax just used a freight forwarder to ship your stuff. I work for Horizon Lines (formerly CSX Lines) and we have several vessels that go to Hawaii a week. You wouldn't beleive what it costs for a 40' container to go to Hawaii. Heck your wheels are probably on one of our boats. good luck to you too. BTW it takes like 3-4 days to go by boat from Long Beach to Hawaii by Boat. then you have to figure in port time/loading /unloading and such and that 3-4 days quickly becomes like a week or more. How much did you pay for just shipping and how long did they tell you to expect to wait??? Also are you picking them up at port or are they coming right to your door?

thanks for the info funwagon. shipping was $250.00 from wheelmax. it is also being delivered to my front door step. wheelmax told me anywhere from 3-6 weeks. but i called a week after i put my order so i could get a tracking number and they said they didnt have any... and also they told me they just sent it out. shipping is that bad i guess? i was expecting to pay way more. but thats the price u pay i guess. crap i sit at home everyday waiting to hear that ups/fedex or wutever truck to come up my drive way. sorry rmedoc, i dont mean to steal this thread from u or anything. aiights then. thanks for the info, i shall be waiting here haha peace - chris

They made it! They made it! Took em long enough, but finally got my rims this morning. Please ignore the ugly background of my military housing unit. I'll get some more pics this weekend with some kewl hawaiian style backdrops. For now, hope you enjoy these...
