Well over the past couple months I have been working with Frank from XtremeBoost about putting some products together for the Mazdaspeed Community. He is already well known in the Evo and SRT-4 world. His products have shown to be top notch in both of those platforms. We recently completed the first of what is expected to be a long line of parts for this platform. He is currently working with another vendor that is expected to sell these in the near future. Here it is:headbang:

Overall the quality is top notch. I did my research on all of the exhaust manifolds available but none seem to meet my expectations.Taking off the stock manifold as it is known is a PITA, but putting this manifold on was a breeze. As you can see the runners are positioned so that they do not interfere with the intercooler piping. All of the bolts are easy to access with just a basic tools. It sits nice and low so that it doesn't melt all the plastic around it as well. Performance wise this thing pulls really hard now. I have yet to put it on a dyno yet but I will soon. My butt dyno and the fact the car overall feels smoother is a WIN for me. I will post up more parts as they become available. If you have any questions just ask away.

Couple of obvious questions . . .

a.) What kind of finishes can we expect on the mani's (SS, Chrome, Jet-Hot Coated, Ceramic)?

b.) What kind of HP/Tq gains are you expecting (knowing that you haven't had a chance to dyno)?

c.) Will it be priced competitively compared to the PG Tubular Manifold, and will there be a group buy? If so, what kind of numbers should we expect per how many people?

Thanks.

ditto! looking forward to this, ive been meaning to get a manifold.. in for a group buy when these are available.

Yea it will fit both....actually it should fit the ms3 better because for some reason the ms6s have a smaller area to work with back there. As far as the coatings go mine was a bare stainless and we just used a spray coating to keep it protected until I get coated. I am not sure how the vendor will handle pricing and if they will get it coated or not. I will assume it will be somewhere close to PGs pricing.

when can we look forward to the production of this mani? Any way we can get a GB for this as well?

Yes it should be into production just got to do some talking with the vendor like I said....Once it gets into production there will likely be a group buy I would assume.

Ass-some. . . keep us posted. Hell, count me in as your first buyer as soon as you get pricing and AVM Status.
