xDJ DUBx's 03.5 Pure White LX-T

Yeah, a buddy of mine has a roller and can pull fenders like nobodies business so thats not really an issue.

depending on if I can get my car inspected by the engine shop and get aligned after work, I might be trying those 17x9 +35 tonight...

my friends knows a guy in colton and he pro man he did his miata and it was very professional, if you want i can see if i can get his number for you.

After having an extremly stressful day, I went out for a nice drive tonight. It sure did help me forget my troubles, however, right before I got home half the street went dark. Figured a bulb went out. Got home and looked, damn shroud came off again and was blocking the light. Looked at the other shroud and its about half way off, must be from the vibrations.

Anyways, I get to take both my lights apart, yay! :|

on the projector itself there are two little indentations cut into it, then on the shroud there are two little hooks that line up with these indentations so they kinda snap in place.

Guess I'll have to use a dab of silicone on each one or something.

That's one thing I was worried about when you told me about your AWR mounts. My first retro had double sided tape holding the shrouds on and are still perfectly fine so that's why I took the same mentality when building these lights for my customers. However, I didn't think of people's individual setups, those with hardcore mount and motor setups, etc. I need to just do the same "more durable" mounting for everyone, from the guy with the daily driver to the guy with the fully race prepped car. I'm very sorry that you've been having issues with the setup.

Please let me know what you come up with when you take these apart.

Thanks dude (2thumbs)

Its great, no lag, no leaks, no problems. I'd like to get a turbolife some day but that probably won't happen. lol.

Got my driver side torn apart and put back together yesterday, then today I tore apart the passenger side, re-aligned the projector, and put it back together. I won't be reinstalling them until I get home from work tomorrow, to give them the most time to dry before they face the vibrations of the motor mounts Thursday morning. I also will most likely be picking up my JDP lip and testing the 17x9 +35 Thursday night :D

My led city lights also came in and after testing them with the different lights, I actually like them with no lights, parking lights and kinda the highs but I don't like them with low beams. Is there a simple way I can wire them to turn off with the projector?

i would imagine if you use the power/ground from the projector lights, the led will only see power when that particular switch is installed.

yes, what I would do is power them off of the ignition (or your own switch, or the running lights, etc.... whatever you want to turn them on) take that power lead and power a relay with it... have it set up on the normally closed side of the relay. then, wire from your headlight wiring to the switch side of the relay, and ground the other side. so when you turn on the headlights, it will open the relay and turn off the city lights.
