My car died on me while I was driving, the batt is drained. I got jumped but by the time I got home, the gauges were barely even lit up anymore and the volt gauge was all the way down. Ideas?

How long could a car run w/o a working alt?

It would depend on how well charged and how good a battery the car had. In your case, it ran long enough to get you home...

Ok, so the Alt is ruled out. I drove about 15 mins last night, it sat for 12hrs or so then I made a 10min drive and back, then another 20min drive.

So yeah, she got driven. I wonder if the batt got messed up from sitting the last few days?

No

I'll let it cool and check.

The voltage has been low since last night, ever since the first time it got started. The batt light has been on, reading 12 but usually it reads a little over 14

it should read a little over 14 when the car is running and a little over 12 when the car isnt running

alt wouldn't go suddenly like that... theres a wire missed, or the ECU is expecting to see something from the voltage regulator or something.

when the alternator in my moms car went thats how it was, she was driving home and the gauges started to dim and then the car just died

my alternator worked fine, then i installed my header and when i started the car up again, it was seized up. that was last year and i still have no idea how that happened lol

Because I never really posted a good pic

Bov is sitting at my front door :D

It shifts great and the clutch GRIPS. I just need to fix my battery problem so I can drive it normal again.
