WTF is the chip for the p5??/

is anyone gonna make a chip for the p5...i want one very badly, my friend put one in his '88 325i and it made a world of difference...all i want is a new chip that adds some power and torque...

i think the only way a chip would add hp or torque is if it messed with fuel/air/combustion device. ive seen those modified 5cent resistors on ebay, thats what ur talking about?

If you mean the Ebay chip... *Stay Away!* it's nothing but a 5 cent resistor from Radio Shack and it will do nothing for you.

If you're talking about like a JET chip that's good. I'm sure JET makes one for the 2.0L, but the thing you need to remember is that those chips incorparate your whole engine and tune it accordingly. They do not learn things like your ECU does, they are programmed. So if you plan on doing a lot of engine mods to your P5 you will want the chip as the final peice of the puzzle.
