not sure if you know this but the ifx is the 72 pin connector, that was the one issue with the system. the system i bought came with a new one and let me tell you NOT ONE issue, actually its hard putting the games in cause its so new...

WHAT !!!!! repeat that. The problem was fixable. OMG ! I wasted all that time trying to get that thing to work when I could of been playing it. Where can I buy this fix? I am really surprised here, you have no idea what my facial expression is right now.

no joke

Thanks a lot pro5maniac I found all the info. Infact its not a faulty 72 pin connector but that the original pins got bent permanently over time and need to be bent back to their original spot or you can buy a new one for 10$ but it will happen to that one too eventually. I'm gonna fix mine this weekend. I can't believe I find this out after 17 years(hand)

Is there a reason why you are buying games instead of just downloading an emulator????

EDIT: Nevermind...i guess it was already discussed.

I have some stuff but I'm not willing to part with it.
I have the 4-score and 4 controllers. It allows you to play games like Super Spike V-Ball or Super Off Road with 3 of your buddies and it also has turbo buttons for A and B.

My favorite game of all time (aside from Zelda of course) is Legacy of the Wizard. I still haven't beat it but its still wicked fun to play.

The music on NES and SNES games is far superior to any games out today. There were tons of memorable tunes. There is an acapella video of some college students doing a collage of them on the web somewhere.

did you clean all your games like they tell you to do before using the new connector or does it work fine without doing so?

well i got like 8 games with the system i bought. i didnt clean out the games and just hooked it all up and the games up and it all worked well 0 issues. at first it seemed like i had some start up issues but that went away in liek 5 mins. the only problem i have is taking the games out cause its a new connector so you really have to push it in itl get worn with time though...its a good fix i hear i dont have grey screens or anything...ZERO problems!

the only problem i have now is finding games at a good REASONABLE price...

I'm definitely gonna clean mine this weekend. We had a community garage sale this summer for charity. I was one of the people in charge. Someone donated a nes and 6-7 games. I remember they were good games. Turtle in time, Zelda, double dragon is what I remember. Anyways i was gonna take them if they didn't sell by the end of the day. I put them on a side so people would go through me to buy it and not low ball with the adults that didn't know. What ended up happening was I was at the other end someone came by paid $5CAD to someone and walked off with all of them except one. When I found out I was soooo pissed. The rest of the day went pretty much the same "let it go for 50 cents at least we're getting something."

His machine came with the new connector. But if you look they are everywhere just search NES 72 pin connector and it will come up. They are going for about $10USD shipped on ebay.
