I bought anm6's. Thank you so much bro! Can't wait to get it... will finally be able to rule out an issue I've been having ever since I put it on (my car surges in upper gears). My friend dropped my stock TIP and it broke the nipple off of it that goes to the Boost Solenoid so I've been stuck trying to rule out all the other mods 1 by 1. This is the only one left. I'm hoping my car's power comes back (lost about 20% power and the surging issue). I think the TIP threw it over the edge as far as what the stock tune could handle, as my LTFT's are way way off (+14)

Probably not. If this fixes my surging and power loss issue, then that means I just need to get a tune to calibrate the MAF so it can handle them both at the same time. I'm not too optimistic though, as lately I've been burning a little bit of oil so I think I may have lost some compression and that is the source of the power loss. Not sure where the surging is from.

No problem man GL with the issue. Just get the HT I have it an love it. Surge you mean boost issues?

Yeah, for some reason I think the boost is surging, especially in higher gears. Wifey just called me at work to tell me the TIP came. Thanks for getting it to me so fast! Tonight is the moment of truth. I find out if this is what caused it or not. I'm hoping so, sooooo bad. :finger's crossed: !!

any updates? i have the exact same mods and i'm noticing sime surging too. guess its time for a tune...Cobb or Hypertech...?

Yes, sorry for not updating. That completely fixed the surging issue. Apparently, my stock tune couldn't handle both the Cobb SRI and Cobb TIP and somehow caused it to surge. Taking off the SRI and/or the TIP fixes the issue completely. I kept the SRI on and put the stock TIP on and runs like a champ again. I've ran into a few others on another forum that have this same issue with the combo of the Cobb SRI & TIP. But only the Cobb for some reason.
