well if we could get a gb on this so i could get it a little cheaper, i'd be in!

I don't think there is going to be any kind of discount for these. Doesn't matter to me, these are almost impossible to get anymore. Corksport sells them, but they are $265. If these go for $120, im not complaining at all.

List of the people so far...

2) Kocakola (toprotege.com)

i bought a prop kit a couple months ago during the winter but will get a CF hood soon and i'm pretty sure it's not made for CF hoods so i have one availlable for sale if anyone wants it.

Im pretty sure the Hood prop kits are universal.. I believe they work on both stock and CF hoods. The mounting points/ brackets should be the same. I would hold on to them if i were you... because after this sale, i dont think you find them again for a long time...

Yup. You'll just need different struts (less strength) ... Man that list went up quick. :D

oh boy, you should see how much force you have to put on those pistons to make it move. ... the one i have is definetely not for a CF hood. you'll break the hood just trying to close it hehe

i just read on the TO forum that Joe used 60lb pistons for oem hood and 30lb pistons for CF ... i might just try to find diff pistons for my cf hood instead of selling this because i really wanted one.

Could you post some images of the props here (couldn't access them in the other thread)?

Here's some installed pics.

Looks great! I'm down. Here's a shot of the kit on my P5. Your mounting position (and angle of the struts) is a better design (mine bows the hood ever so slightly when closed).

^ looks like the brackets come up just a bit too high.

I also came up with the idea of slotting the mounting points on the brackets so that the hood bolts don't even have to come off when installing. You simply just loosen them and slip the bracket on and tighten them up and your ready to go.

I did my group buy with 50 lbs ones for OEM and 30lbs CF , 60 lbs for OEM hood is to much , opens pretty hard .
