i have a 1.6l tranny with bad input shaft bearings. The 1.6l differential is geared a bit different than the 1.8l but will be interchangeable if u cant come across a 1.8l one. I could do $50 for the whole tranny if you wanted to come pick it up or $70 if you wanted to meet somewhere half way, say nashua, nh or so, its about 1 hour 45min from here to lawrence. I could also crack it apart before so u can inspect the diff. before buying.

As long as it is certain that the differential is interchangeable I'd go pick it up maybe Thursday before 5. I'd have to find a ride and see if they'd meet there or go the full way. That would be awesome.

Never done it myself, but have been told they will interchange, as well as the transmissions having the same code F25M-R, and the axles being the exact same between the two. All would lead me to believe that it will interchange. Like I said, I can split the case of the tranny open and u can measure, touch, smell(dont recommend it, burnt 75w90 doesnt smell good) anything you like. Thursday I am home at 4pm, so if u wanted to meet say nashua, nh or somewhere near there(about half way) i wouldnt be able to until 5:30-6.

I'll be willing to meet halfway. I'll just go to work late. Just need to find out if the differential is actually interchangeable.

I'm not sure how to tell ya for sure. I guess you can take the trans apart and try it out, and we can do the payment via paypal, and if it doesn't work ill refund $50(since the total will be $70 for me to meet you). It's all up to you, I can meet thursday, or friday afternoon, or any time sunday or basically any afternoon next week.
