i would. i like having cars that are different. how many civic's, 350z's, mustangs, evo's do you see rolling around? THOUSANDS. msp's? not to many. yea the car can be a pain when modded, but what isnt? if i were to ever get another, id keep it stock looking, but it would have a bulletproof motor and turbo set-up...

U could build a bulletproof motor but the problem still resides in the tranny. Speaking of which, I remember seeing a comment from focus showing an sr20 tranny that he was putting in supposedly, did that ever happen? I havnt been on her much in awhile

thats the only reason why ive kept mine but if i had to do it all over again i would have saved up for an evo or sti. ya msp' can catch up and be fast but think of how much money it takes to hit 240 whp in an msp thats a 90 whp increase basically. you get that stock with an evo. go ahead and spend thousands building your msp. maybe hit 350-400 wheel, upgrade your fmic intake exhaust and up the boost on a stock evo or sti and be at 400 wheel. hell srt 4's with a stage 2 kit will put down 250 whp. I LOVE the mazdaspeed protege, there rare, there great looking but the motor is no match. thats why you see guys selling msp' and getting evos. hate to say it they see the light
and after you spend 5k you may be at 400 whp with bolt ons in cars that were meant for what were after you hit 400 whp. and your 5k doesnt include the basics ie fmic exhaust cai tune unless your doing everything on your own

hmm tough one cause money earned is different then free money. A free $30k Id buy a 93 RX7 with an LS1 swap. Thats my dream car. Maybe one day Ill get to build it.
if someone said heres $30k, i wouldn't be looking at a msp. as much as i battle my father about imports>american muscle, i cant deny that a v8 makes sexy sounds and high hp is easily bolted right on. the 6.0 GTO or g8 gxp with a sts twin turbo kit is amazing. corvettes can be had for under 30k and as much as i hate mustangs, the new 5.0 gt is right around 30k too...i would love a new M3 though....
