I probably would not get one again if it was the same old car. If it had a tad more power and AWD i would though.

My first Mazda was a p5, and I wish I still had it. Never had a msp, but would consider it if, say Mazda brought back a new line of Protege :) I know that's not the question, sorry for the pseudo-threadjack

for $30k i would buy a msp again and build it up, I like other cars but im definately a mazda fan, my msp is the 3rd mazda i owned. i plan on keeping my msp forever and keep building it, and buy a ms6 as a daily driver! i say hell with evos and sti, they are nice but not as rare as an msp. id also use the 30k to somehow convert the msp to awd with a built tranny

ive had my share of problems with my msp but it doesn't change how much i love it! but it is one of my dream cars

i wish msp was all wheel drive forged internals from factory. Also wish it had bigger turbo from factory higher boost better tune and lots more lol

I would not get another one.
Awesome little cars, but too many persistent problems, and they all add up in the long run.

What good is a performance inspired car, if its not performance built?
And **** all that "sink 30g's into an MSP" bulls***.
30g's in my pocket... BMW M3 (e46) and some nice mods.

LOL

Ive been researching an awd setup. Would be lots of fab work but thats nothing I haven't gotten my self into before lol. Would be sweet though. Im in the antique car business an I know these cars will be collectors down the road with its limited production.

Also, if anyone buys an MSP with sole intentions of spending 20k+ on it purposely... you need some serious financial advising.
I like this car, but fuuuuuuuck spending that much coin on it, only to impress 19yr old kids on mazdas247.com ;)

I don't care what others think, I just mod the car how I want to. Some people think yellow fog lights are hideous on a blue car, but I like it so **** em. :D

LOL

i doubt people will be lying up at the door drooling over these wanting to collect them no offense.

theres not much of a difference buying a car for 10k and sinking 20k into it, or buying a car for 30k. regardless all the money is going into a vehicle

You would have ended up modded the crap out of it. Just the same with the MSP.

ya who wouldn't mod the crap out of an evo? i mean what else is the purpose of getting one. im just saying the skies are much more endless than with an msp and im sure when i get done modding the msp it will be to the point where i could have purchased a used evo.
