No, I would try to avoid them, but I guess I would give in if I really had to. No offense to any Mexicans here on the forum, but Japanese people tend to be very hard-working people and strive to keep their family's reputation for such at all cost. I place Japan's quality of craftsmanship beyond that of Mexican, American, Canadian and Eastern European, and third to Swiss and German human labour. I've owned a mexican-built mk3 Golf Wolfsburg. It wasn't horrible, but it did have its quirks, especially in the electrics department. The germans had engineered it too complicated, and the mexicans didn't wire it properly.
Just for the record, my girlfriend is half Mexican, and her father was a very hardworking gentlemen, who's now retired.
