Would like to powder coat the stock rims

Make sure you go dark enough that it doesn't look look like they don't match sunlight silver well :)

though I personally like my stock wheels for matching the car, it's kinda fun. I don't leave them on year-round though

Here's some gunmetal wheels on a sunlight silver (same paint color as you guys) Protege5 (yup, my car.. pic from early last summer)

Just realized from that pic they used to put the gas tank on the driver side. wonder why they moved it to passenger side...

because the passenger side is much more convenient in north america. Whenever I pull up to the pump I have to be very careful opening my door >_<

Supposedly from what Ive heard its a safety issue. If you run out of gas on the highway then when you fill up your on the passenger side out away from traffic.

one of my friends told me he knows a place that runs about 300-400 for a glossy black powder coat...

Bloody hell I can get it done for $25 per rim up to 18" and $25 for setup. $125 total.
