WOT box?

AT is more consistant for bracket racing, but if you're a good driver, manual is faster at equal power because of less drag on on the driveline, unless we're talking about a VW/Audi DSG or Ferrari F1 tranny, of course.

A/T is awesome when the tranny is robust enough to handle it. The autos that fit our engine are so anemic and weak they just go crunch crunch slip slip after a few runs on any engine with real balls....

on the other forum, there is a GB going for them , 189 for 2step and wot shifting or 89 for either feature.

5k for launching is to high they should set it up to 3 .5k

3.5k would still be too high. Some where between 2.5k - 3k would be more ideal. - You don't want copious amounts of torque being unleashed all out once on a FWD platform. I imagine this car would be running the 1/4 at around 13.8 stock if it came with this technology. However, I personally perfer the satisfaction of having felt like I had more to do with the time than some electronic gimmicks doing most the work for me.

nah i still almost bog on 3.4 k. you gotta think when your trying to launch at lower then 3k your sliping the clutch till the car gets up to speed not side steping the clutch. you try and side step the clutch at 2.5 K that car ganna try and stall and buck hard once.

Really? Whenever I tried to drop the clutch out at or over 3k I got tremendous wheel hop and or spin witch lead to a piss poor launch, torque steer and misalignment. – Maybe that is due to tire PSI?

- My best 60ft is 2.0 and that was achieved with a quick slip of the clutch at 2500rpms. ET ended up being 13.97

Exsactly what I said anything below 3k your sliping the clutch. Hell thats the same way I get my best 60ft-s. The two step is for people with a rim tire setup and can hold the power spin some and still give you forward momentum

I ordered just 2 step Im not into this shifting thing.....

honestly the Wot box is better to get then the 2 step if your jsut going to pick one option. From what I under stand you dont have alot of mods and if your on stock rims and tires what did you order it for? The Wot box holds boost through shifts with out putting extra wear on your tranny like you would with out it. Smother shifts no grinding, hold all your boost sounds like a better option then just getting a 2step.
