car he rides in polutes more then that freon, is my point...for that statement to be valid at least he would have to be walking everywhere haha, ok threadjack off,

hrm..funny how a thread about supercharges goes into AC pumps...PS pumps..and then the environment..what next, favorite drinks?...Mines Corona:D

hey is there any breaking in with the supercharger kit?

and its ok to drop the blower on my stock internals right?

I'm designing the kit to be used with stock internals. After initial testing is done on stock internals and we know we have a safe power level I'm swapping my forged motor and ported and polished head/IM...then I'm going to turn the wick up with some new injectors and see just how far the stock tranny will take me.

it should be pretty good. I'm not so much interested in high power numbers as I am a big fat-ass torque and power curve from down low.

My main goal for this was to enhacne the overall driveability of the car. Turbo's come on like a missle I want something to just pull like a train and keep you pinned back in the seat. Push you back and hold you there.

yeah...I definatly understand where you're coming from there. A much nicer power curve, rather than a giant kick in the ass a bit later, you'd rather a smooth kick in the ass that lasts....and one thats got the toque to pull a front end off if you pop the clutch in 3 with slicks on.

yeah, I think it's going to be pretty nice. The blower is massive, the Haltech is badass, by keeping the full header (without restriction). The only limiting factor is going to be the clutch, rods, and tranny!

what type of gas will we be using if we buy this kit?

so you dont have to brake the supercharger in? like you do a clutch?

A lot of things require a break-in period...engine, tranny, clutch, brake pads. I don't think I've ever heard of a turbo or S/C needing break-in though.
