Maybe someone can help me ot here. I have two laptops both with wireless connection hardware, one work fine and connects the other one does not even find the wireless networks in range, never even did, what can be wrong?
go to control panel and network connections and make sure that the wireless connection on that machine is not disabled. If it is, you'll never find anything. If it is an internal wireless chip and it still doesn't work, your antenna is probably disconnected from your motherboard. I've had this happen in a few laptops and it is annoying.
