Mine has dropped from 29.7 to 29.4. The last tank full with a lot of cold and 4 snowfalls was 27

I have a brand new CX-5 AWD GT and am getting 22 MPG with almost 80% city driving. I was hoping to get closer to 24-25 and hope it gets better. I am in the cold North East so the weather may be playing a role.
Poor CX-5 was pretty unhappy when she started up.
I just did a road trip to DC and ended up getting 32 MPG for the trip. 375+ miles on 12 gallons of gas. Call me happy.
I agree, sometimes the CX-5 really shines. I just drove to Boston about a month ago and fuelly calculated 33 mpg. I'm also in central-ish PA, so it was about a six hour hike, just over 400 miles. Range showed about 50 miles remaining, plus the spare two gallons in the tank! Conditions must have just been magical that day. Also, I cruised at 65 for the entire trip.
I have been considering trading up for a new Mazda3, but they only have 13 gallon tanks! I care slightly more about range than I do about fuel economy.
Glad I found this thread. I bought my '15 Touring in October and never got higher than 24 MPG. I do mostly city driving so that doesn't help me either. Do they start winter blends that early? Hoping to get higher MPGs once warm weather comes back.
