Didn't search very hard did you? Anyway check this section, go about 15 threads down. It's called "Winter Tire Size" (go figure).

195/55/15 is the correct size i believe so you will be a percent off.
Wrong. 195-55-15 is correct for the P5 and sedan but not the MSP.,
Those are way too small for the MSP.
195-60-15 is slightly smaller than stock.
195-65-15 is slightly larger than stock.
205-6o-15 is closest, though slightly bigger than stock.

I'm confused, which is the definite size for 15" on the MSP?
I'm looking everywhere and it seems that some poeple say onething and some say another. On tiretrends.com they say that you need 195-60-15, would that be ok?

There is no definitive answer, though the majority of the sites state 195-60-15 to be best.
Discount tire states 195-65-15, Tire Rack used to quote 195-55-15, but then they changed it.
I'm running 205-60-15, which is the closest to the overall stock size you can get.
185-65-15 works as well as it is skinnier, but slightly taller.

i got 195/60-15's from tire rack.com shipped for 460.12. They got here two days ago and they look great. I havent mounted them for two reasons. (1) it isnt snowing YET, and (2) My car doesnt arive from the transport company until wednsday.

I would think that the skinnier the tire the better in snow it would be. In all of my Nebraska winter driving expereince, the skinnier the tire (Width wise) the more traction you have. Think opposite of what you want for summer driving. ANd if tirerack.com tells me a size to go with that is good enough for me.

that reminds me, will 16's from a P5 on a MSP??? still finding the right tires for winter n all.

Which do you guys think would be best, 205-60-15 or 185-65-15. The 205s are closer to the stock 17" and will be best to keep the ABS accurate, or the 185s which is narrower and will dig deeper in snow?

Depends where you are and how much snow you usually drive in.

The ABS will work as long as all 4 tires are the same outside diameter - that's all that matters for ABS.

205/55/16 is the size I use, on P5 rims - work great, no clearance problems, wnd within 2% of stock (within 1% maybe, don't recall exactly).
